A large number of our students are active-duty or veterans of the armed forces. We are keenly aware of the unique challenges faced by military members and their families. We assist with military-affiliated resources like Tuition Assistance and GI Bills®, and we offer military-specific scholarships and discounts to members and their spouses.

CSU offers scholarships for military members and public safety personnel, as well as degree-specific and general scholarships. Every student attending CSU is eligible to apply for, and earn, one of our various scholarships and get even closer to achieving their academic dreams.

CSU alumni who are ready to take their success one step further to pursue their master’s or doctoral degree are encouraged to use the Knight tuition discount.

You’ve done the work, so you should get the credit. At CSU, you may be awarded transfer credit for up to 45 semester hours for an associate program and up to 90 semester hours for a bachelor’s degree program. A maximum of 18 semester hours may be awarded as transfer credit for a master’s degree. We also work with students to apply professional experience and certifications toward their degree.

The cost of textbooks can be a financial burden in higher education. We don’t believe you should foot the bill. CSU offers textbooks at no cost to students, as well as eTextbook courses and textbook-free courses. We can also ship textbooks to Army Post Office or Fleet Post Office locations.
