Program Description

The Bachelor of Science in Human Services prepares students to assess social policies that impact organizational and community needs. The program provides students with a working knowledge of human relations, social issues, ethics, organizational management, counseling techniques, and public policy that form a foundation for developing evidence-based solutions and highly skilled approaches to advocacy in human services.

Concentration Description

Enables students to develop an understanding of how psychological concepts and theories apply to criminal justice and related fields. Emphasis is placed on the practices of the criminal justice system, central theories and approaches to criminology and victimology, and how mental illness impacts crime and the criminal justice field.

Learning Outcomes
