Touted by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals as a Qualified Academic Program, Columbia Southern University’s online Bachelor of Science in occupational safety and health is taught by experts in the field, many of whom are involved in advancing the industry on a national level. This degree program prepares students for career advancement into leadership positions in the safety field. The QAP designation allows graduates to apply for the Graduate Safety Practitioner® designation with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. This designation eliminates the need to sit for the Associate Safety Professional (ASP®) exam prior to taking the Certified Safety Professional (CSP®) exam.
CSU’s B.S. in occupational safety and health meets the educational requirements mandated by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals for the ASP® and the CSP®. This degree program is also board-approved through the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM).
