Program Description

The Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management program provides students with the foundational knowledge needed to address the current man-made and natural disaster threats relating to the emergency management field. Students within the program examine issues related to the disaster cycle that arise prior to, during, and after a disaster or emergency occurs in local, municipal, tribal, and governmental settings. Students who earn this degree may pursue a career in emergency management, homeland security, fire, crisis management, and/or other public or private corporations or organizations.

Concentration Description

Provides students with specialized curricula focused on fire-safety and survival technology applicable for individuals who work or plan to work in fields requiring specialized knowledge in fire-related hazards and prevention methods.
