Author, entrepreneur, university educator and mother Synovia Dover-Harris works hard every day to prove that you can “have it all” as a working mother.

“I want my legacy to be that I was able to have it all—the business, the career and the family-- and assist others to having it all also,” the wife and mother of two girls said.
Dover-Harris is also a book publisher, women’s group founder, business and branding strategist who holds a doctor of business administration degree from Columbia Southern University.CSU grad does it all to help others

As an Atlanta-based entrepreneur and university educator, Dover-Harris has worked extensively during the past 14 years to educate career-focused adults in business, finance and entrepreneurship to help them succeed.

“I am passionate about individuals living their lives to the fullest,” she said. “So when they come to me with an idea, and my team and I are able to help them bring it to fruition—whether it is a book, a business or even the launch of a new product—I get to see the joy on their faces. That means everything to me.”

Dover-Harris’s love to help others has extended into several books she has written“A2Z Inspirational Marketing” (2009) and “A2Z of Success” (2011) feature A to Z listings of business tips starting with each letter of the alphabet.

She furthered her drive in late 2011 when she helped lead the Atlanta chapter of the National Association of Women MBAs as a founding board member.
Dover-Harris has some advice for young girls, particularly in light of Women’s History Month.

“Young girls need to have a vision, create a plan and execute it properly. If they stick with this, they can grow up to be anything they want to be,” said Dover-Harris.
