GTS 1000: Certified Safety Repair Technician (CSRT)

About This Course

In partnership with the Green Training Services (GTS), this course is available for enrollment.

CDGP: Certified Dangerous Goods ProfessionalGreen Training Services (GTS) Certified Safety Repair Technician (CSRT) training course objective is to educate individual students in operations, inspections, maintenance, and recordkeeping criteria for safety equipment. The certification’s goal is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to keep safety equipment in an operationally ready state and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations and company requirements.

This course covers essential safety equipment maintenance, including the inspection, repair, and calibration of gas detectors, fall protection systems, rescue gear, SCBA units, fire extinguishers, noise monitoring equipment, and lifting gear. Designed to ensure reliable and compliant operation, the curriculum prepares students to handle common safety equipment needs efficiently.

This program is not eligible for Federal Student Aid, military tuition assistance, VA funding or Learning Partner discounts.

Additional Course Information

Students will review the presentations provided in each of the 11 units and complete an assessment onof the unit content. Students will not be able to move to the next unit until they have successfully passed the previous unit assessment with ana 780% or higher to ensure students are grasping concepts. We encourage students to reach out to the GTS facilitator if they are struggling with certain concepts.

A certificate of completion with the number of CEUs awarded will be issued upon successfully completing the course. Course must be paid for in full before student is eligible to receive certificate.

  1. Students may request a course extension if the course is not completed within the allotted 10 week time frame. Extension options are available, with associated, non-refundable processing fees. Students who do not complete the course with a 70% or higher within the allotted 10 weeks and do not request a course extension will be removed from the course. Back to duration
