The Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification is a sought-after credential in the safety industry. This course is designed to present students with a representation of the Board of Certified Safety Professional’s ASP certification exam concepts and questions.

Pre-recorded audio presentations will review how to calculate and solve mathematic equations, examine safety management systems, ergonomics, and fire prevention. Students will additionally review environmental and emergency response management, training, education, law and ethics & other concepts that follow the ASP® Examination blueprint.

Students should have the Texas Instrument-30XIIS calculator and access to speakers or headphones.

Additional Course Information

The course itself has only a representation of ASP^® study questions. The questions used in the course represent high probability questions or questions seen regularly but there are hundreds more that can make up your 200 question test. 
 
Additional self-study (recommended 80+ hours upon completion of course) will be required in order to be fully qualified to pass the ASP^® examination.

Prerequisites to Take Certification Exam

ASP® candidates must have a minimum of an associate’s degree in safety & heath, or environmental or a bachelor’s degree in any field. Candidates also must have at least 1 full year of safety experience where safety is at least 50% preventative, professional level with breadth and depth of safety duties.
