CE 1501: Empowering Educators: Using Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom

About This Course

Designed specifically for practicing K–12 educators, this continuing education course demystifies artificial intelligence and focuses on what matters most, practical classroom use. In this 5-unit course, students will explore how AI can streamline instructional planning, support differentiated instruction, and reduce time spent on routine tasks, allowing teachers to focus more fully on student learning and relationships. Through guided exploration of real-world tools and scenarios, educators will develop the confidence to integrate AI responsibly and ethically, with careful attention to student privacy and academic integrity. No technical background is required; the course meets educators where they are and equips them with strategies they can use immediately.

These programs are not eligible for Federal Student Aid, military tuition assistance, VA funding or Learning Partner discounts.

  1. Students may request a course extension if the course is not completed within the allotted 10 week time frame. Extension options are available, with associated, non-refundable processing fees. Students who do not complete the course with a 70% or higher within the allotted 10 weeks and do not request a course extension will be removed from the course. Back to duration
