A certificate is an educational program of study in a specific discipline created for those interested in expanding skills and knowledge for personal and/or professional development. Certificates are credit-based and taught by qualified faculty members. Certificates align with existing curricula and are offered at the undergraduate and graduate level. Certificates require a minimum of 12 semester hours and are recorded on the student’s transcript.
Note: Certificate programs are not eligible for Federal Student Aid, VA funding or Military Tuition Assistance.
Undergraduate Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
CSU's undergraduate certificate in occupational safety and health provides students with a choice of courses to align with their educational needs. Upon completion of the certificate requirements, students will be able to apply key occupational safety and health concepts from the selected courses to their professional roles in industry.

Graduate Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
CSU's graduate certificate in occupational safety and health provides flexible, specialized training to supplement planning, analysis and decision-making skills for occupational safety and health managers. Upon completion of the certificate requirements, students will be able to apply advanced occupational safety and health concepts in the workplace related to accident prevention and control.
