A certificate is an educational program of study in a specific discipline created for those interested in expanding skills and knowledge for personal and/or professional development. Certificates are credit-based and taught by qualified faculty members. Certificates align with existing curricula and are offered at the undergraduate and graduate level. The Undergraduate Certificate in Psychology is an embedded certificate. A student earns an embedded certificate by completing courses that meet the requirements of the embedded certificate within the degree program of record.

Certificates require a minimum of 12 semester hours and are recorded on the student’s transcript.
