It's Time to Celebrate 2026 Commencement
Columbia Southern University will host a virtual ceremony on May 15, 2026.

Commencement is one of the most joyous events at CSU. Every year, our university faculty and staff look forward to celebrating this incredible milestone with our graduates and their loved ones. In that spirit, we will host a virtual ceremony on May 15, 2026. The deadline to register is April 6th.
There is no fee to participate in this ceremony, however you must register to participate AND meet the eligibility guidelines below.

The commencement registration deadline is April 6, 2026.
Eligibility to Participate in Commencement
- Students must have submitted a petition to graduate and receive audit results*.
- Students must complete all graduation requirements or have submitted their enrollment for any remaining course(s) required for program completion at the time of Commencement registration.
- Students who have not completed all graduation requirements by the registration deadline are not eligible to be designated as graduating with honors.
*Students must complete the Commencement registration form in addition to submitting their petition to graduate.

Regalia Information
Regalia is not required for participation; however, it can still be purchased through Herff Jones if you would like to have it for personal photos or uses.
Standard Ordering Period is open through April 3, 2026, at 10:59PM CST. Any orders placed between April 3rd -April 17th will incur an expedited FedEx Shipping Fee. The site will close permanently Friday, April 17th, 2026, at 10:59PM CST.
Additional Information
Within 5-7 business days upon your registration being processed you will receive an email from our vendor, Tassel, with instructions to create your graduate slide. Here you will have the ability to upload a photo and quote that you would like displayed, in addition to the degree and honors (if applicable) already provided by CSU, as well as an opportunity to include phonetic spelling of your name and record pronunciation. Please note that pictures and quotes must be appropriate. These slides are what will be displayed when the degrees are conferred during the ceremony. Slides must be completed by April 19th, 2025. Due to vendor processing times late submissions are unable to be accepted.
A few days prior to the ceremony, a link to access the virtual ceremony will be sent for you to share with family and friends. The ceremony is pre-recorded to allow you viewing when convenient for our graduates and guests after the initial airing May 15, 2026, at 10a.m. CST.
The Foley Event Center at OWA
The CSU Commencement in-person ceremonies are held at The Foley Event Center at OWA, located just minutes away from the CSU campus.
