Virginia Fire Chiefs Association Scholarship
Columbia Southern University (CSU) is proud to offer a two-year scholarship to the members of the Virginia Fire Chiefs Association (VFCA). The scholarship will be applied to two consecutive year's towards the completion of one of CSU's associate, bachelor's, master's or doctoral online degree programs.
This scholarship covers tuition only. Textbooks and fees will be the responsibility of the scholarship recipient. The CSU Book Grant/Loan-a-Book program does not apply to students utilizing a CSU scholarship.
The scholarship application will open on Tuesday, February 20, 2014. Applications will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. CST on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. The scholarship will be awarded May 22, 2014.
Scholarship winners must begin their coursework within 90 days of the date of the award. They will be required to maintain a 3.0 undergraduate GPA or 3.5 graduate GPA, remain in good standing with both CSU and the VFCA throughout his or her degree program, and remain enrolled in their degree program.
Eligibility and Requirements
All scholarship applicants must:
have a high school diploma or GED,
be an active member of the VFCA,
and complete the CSU/VFCA Scholarship Application.
Current CSU students must have a 3.0 undergraduate GPA or 3.5 graduate GPA to be considered.
