Arizona Fire Chiefs Association Scholarship

Arizona Fire Chiefs AssociationColumbia Southern University (CSU) is proud to offer a two-year scholarship to the members of the Arizona Fire Chiefs Association (AFCA). The scholarship will be applied to two consecutive years towards the completion of one of CSU's associate, bachelor's, or master's online degree programs.

This scholarship covers tuition only. Textbooks and fees will be the responsibility of the scholarship recipient. The CSU Book Grant/Loan-a-Book program does not apply to students utilizing a CSU scholarship.

Arizona Fire Chief Assoociation Scholarship Application Details

The application period has ended for the AFCA Scholarship and applications are no longer being accepted at this time. Thank you for your interest.
The scholarship will be awarded June 25, 2014.

Scholarship winners must begin their coursework within 90 days of the date of the award. They will be required to maintain a 3.0 undergraduate GPA or 3.5 graduate GPA, remain in good standing with both CSU and the AFCA throughout his or her degree program, and remain enrolled in their degree program.

Eligibility and Requirements

All scholarship applicants must:

  • have a high school diploma or GED,
  • be an active member of the AFCA,
  • and complete the CSU/AFCA Scholarship Application.
  • Current CSU students must have a 3.0 undergraduate GPA or 3.5 graduate GPA to be considered.
