CE 2000: Internet and Network Security
Course Description
Provides a practical examination of information security fundamentals. Includes security planning, technologies, and personnel issues. Covers material helpful in the preparation for the Security+ certification exam.
Certificate Overview
This course is part of a four course Ethical Hacker Certificate program. Upon successful completion, with a 70% or higher, in each of the four courses, students need to complete the Certificate Request Form. A certificate of completion will be issued to the participating individual.
Courses can be taken separately from earning the certificate for CEU credit.
Course Cost: $705
Note: CE courses are not eligible for Federal Financial Aid, Military Tuition Assistance or Learning Partner Discounts.

Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Describe the different types of vulnerabilities that plague an organization’s information assets.
- Explain risk management approaches that can prevent or eliminate vulnerability threats.
- Analyze the procedures utilized in the implementation of organizational information security management.
- Use professional security skills to examine approaches for staying current in a global network environment.
