CE 1401: Project Management Professional (PMP®) Exam Prep Course

This course assists students with preparing for mastery of the project management terminology and processes required in order to obtain the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification. The course covers the inputs, tools, techniques, and outputs of each of the knowledge areas, as well as the ethical responsibility and code of conduct, and the cross-cutting knowledge and skills. The course also includes tips on taking and passing the exam.
*The CE 1401 course material follows the current PMP® certification exam blueprint which remains in effect until July 2020*

Course Learning Objectives:

  1. Define fundamental project management terminology, the project life cycle, project environment, process groups, and knowledge areas.
  2. Distinguish inputs, tools, techniques, and outputs of project integration management.
  3. Differentiate the inputs, tools, techniques, and outputs of the triple constraint of project scope, schedule, and cost management.
  4. Distinguish inputs, tools, techniques, and outputs of project quality management.
  5. Distinguish inputs, tools, techniques, and outputs of project resource and procurement management.
  6. Distinguish inputs, tools, techniques, and outputs of project communication and stakeholder management.
  7. Distinguish inputs, tools, techniques, and outputs of project risk management.
  8. Express the project management ethical responsibility and code of conduct.
