Description

Introduces core chemical concepts to help the student acquire a long-term, meaningful understanding of the basic principles and relevant connections to those principles operating in everyday life.

Outcomes

  1. Outline the scientific method as it applies to chemistry.
  2. Describe how chemistry is a science of exact measurement.
  3. Explain the relationship between chemical matter and energy.
  4. Relate chemical behavior to atomic structure.
