Completion of a degree program at CSU does not guarantee that a graduate will meet all requirements and/or qualifications for employment at the international, national, state, or local level. Employment qualifications may also require that applicants earn their degree from a university with specific programmatic or institutional accreditation. Columbia Southern University is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC). We encourage all students to research licensing and job requirements to ensure that he or she will be prepared for their desired career path.
Retention and Graduation Rates
CSU reports additional data about academic programs to include retention rates, graduation rates, and an annual comprehensive report on student performance.
CSU periodically conducts a survey of all CSU graduates to determine how many graduates are currently employed or employed in their field of study within 180 days of graduating and employed for at least 13 weeks. While CSU calculates employment rates, the institution is not required by its accreditor or home state authorization to calculate employment rates.
