The MBA originated in the United States in 1881 as the country industrialized executives sought scientific approaches to management. Over the years the demand for administrative professionals with advanced degrees and specialized training has steadily increased. But never before in history has the need for skilled MBA graduates been as critical to a company’s success as it is in today’s global environment.
CSU’s Master of Business Administration program provides an understanding of the theoretical, historical practices and current issues in business and industry; trains students in general research methods and to analyze and interpret research in the field; and explores the relationship between business and society and the global issues impacting the professions.
