You have reached your goal. You faced hardships and made sacrifices through-out the journey. It was not easy, but you persevered and you succeeded. To succeed within the Directed Studies environment requires and iron willed dedication and focus in the face of demands imposed by family and career. That you have thrived in your program of study speaks well of you. This very same dedication and determination that characterized your efforts here at CSU will no doubt serve you well throughout your life. Now the time has come to celebrate your accomplishment.

You are invited to participate in the Columbia Southern University Graduation Ceremonies that will be conducted in Orange Beach, Alabama on Friday, June 29, 2007. The ceremonies will commence at 2p.m. at the Christian Life Church. Click here for directions to Christian Life Church

You are also invited to participate in other activities associated with the graduation including an Open House at Columbia Southern University and a Reception for all participants and attendees following the Graduation Ceremonies on Friday. See schedule below.

Your friends and family are also welcome to attend the graduation ceremonies. Students may bring up to ten guests. The first five guests are at no cost; however each additional guest (up to ten) will have a additional cost of $10.00 each. We ask that you provide CSU with the number that will be attending so that sufficient seating will be made available.

Faculty & Graduates’  Sunset Cruise
The Sunset Cruise will be held from 7p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 28th. Boarding will begin at 6:30 p.m. Open to Graduates and family members, based on availability. Seating is limited so early reservations are required.

Graduate is no-charge, each family member, child, spouse or friend extra is $10 each. No refund.

Registrations for the sunset cruise is closed. The cruise is Full. For information about the cruise, check out the Southern Rose Dolphin Trips website.

The CSU Graduation Sunset Cruise aboard the Southern Rose will be leaving from the Sun Harbor Marina, 27212 Marina Road, in Orange Beach.  We will be loading about 6:30 pm on Thursday, June 28.  Please be on time. Get custom directions to Harbor Marina via Google maps.

Coming from the Beach Road (Condo’s, beaches, etc) turn north on Hwy 181 (heading away from the Gulf) and proceed to the first traffic light.  Make a right at the light onto Marina Rd.  Proceed 1.2 miles down Marina Rd to the entrance to Sun Harbor Marina which is on your right.  There will be someone there to show you where to park.

Coming from Canal Road (CSU area) turn south on Hwy 181 (heading toward the Gulf) and proceed to the second traffic light. Make a left at the light onto Marina Rd.  Proceed 1.2 miles down Marina Rd to the entrance to Sun Harbor Marina which is on your right.  There will be someone there to show you where to park.

• Bachelor's with Honors $32.90 - Cap, Gown, Tassel – (includes shipping directly to student)
• Master's $46.15 - Cap, Gown, Tassel, Hood – (includes shipping directly to student)

Orders for our International Students will be shipped directly to Columbia Southern University. You will be able to pick up your cap and gown on Thursday June 28 or between the hours of 8am and 10:30am on Friday June 29. You will not be able to do so after this time. Graduating with Honors
Those students who qualify for honors will be given the option to purchase a cord to wear with their regalia, depending upon the honors below. In order for a student enrolled in the Bachelor degree program to graduate with honors, they must earn the following grade point average.

You must indicate on the online order form if you plan to graduate with honors.

Honors are based upon coursework completed at CSU.  Honor graduates must have no grades lower than "C", and must not have repeated any course at CSU.  

Honors are not awarded for graduate degree programs.
