After serving in the Navy as an Air Traffic Controller, he began his distinguished 28-year Maryland State Trooper career advancing to Assistant Commander, Criminal Enforcement Command overseeing 16 diverse major statewide units including Homicide, Auto Theft and Missing Children.
As the City of Aberdeen, Maryland’s Chief of Police, Randy has provided leadership to a nationally recognized municipal police department, including initiating an award-winning, contemporary Community Policing Plan.
“Selecting CSU was a great decision. The support from CSU’s professors was unbelievable. The interaction via e-mail or telephone was more than acceptable when comparing online study to the classroom setting. I learned a lot that I am using everyday,” said Rudy.
