Description

Emphasizes the application of knowledge and analytical skills to solve appropriate business problems or opportunities. Integrated comprehensive analyses, strategy formulations, and strategic implementation plans are examined.

Objectives

  1. Design a research study.
  2. Examine statistical methods as applied to business research.
  3. Apply research techniques to commerce and business issues.
  4. Differentiate between descriptive and inferential statistics.
  5. Explore the dynamics of sampling theory and distributions.
  6. Develop an experiment based on a written hypothesis.
  7. Compare and contrast the types of descriptive, co-relational, qualitative non-experimental, experimental, and quasi-experimental research.
  8. Synthesize a research paper based on results from components of the research process.
