Membership in the ACJA is composed of individuals employed in the criminal justice system or taking a course of study in criminal justice at an accredited college of university at the time the application is submitted.

Order of the Sword and Shield
The Order of the Sword and Shield is a national honor society for current students, alumni, and faculty of homeland security and emergency management. It offers connection and engagement with members of the CSU chapter, as well as other chapters across the nation.
National Society of Leadership and Success
Columbia Southern University has established a chapter with the National Society of Leadership and Success, Sigma Alpha Pi. Admission into this esteemed honor society is merit-based and by invitation only.
