Per Course Enrollment: Students may enroll in one or two courses at a time. With CSU's Per-Course option, texts are provided at no charge through the CSU Book Grant. If a student withdraws, course materials may be returned if in “like new” condition or the student is responsible for the cost of the textbook. |
Tuition is payable in U.S. Funds. Columbia Southern University accepts Checks, Money Orders, Visa, Master Card and American Express. Tuition is due at time of enrollment.
1. Per Course Enrollment Full Payment. Payments may be paid by check, money order, or credit card.
2. Per Course Enrollment Payment Plan. Students may pay their tuition split over two payments and have it automatically charged to a credit card. Half of the tuition due is charged to a credit card upon enrollment and half of the tuition due is charged to a credit card in 4 weeks.
Application Fee $25 domestic; $50 international; priority evaluation fee $25; 30 day course extension fee $50; leave of absence fee $50; change of program fee $150; Extra Credit Assignment fee $50; graduation fee $75; return check fee $25; late payment fee $15; additional transcript fee $10; online library fee $20; change of payment plan fee $50. Fees are non refundable and are subject to change.
TUITION REFUND POLICY: Students who find it necessary to withdraw may do so in any manner. The "date" of withdrawal will be the date CSU receives the student's request to withdraw. All money due to the student will be refunded within thirty days. Fees, shipping and handling charges are not refundable. If CSU is notified of cancellation within five calendar days of the day on which the *Enrollment Agreement is signed/submitted, all money paid to CSU will be refunded. All students withdrawing after five calendar days will be charged a 20% Registration Fee (maximum $200). The remaining tuition will be refunded based on the course start date and the tuition percentage amounts listed below.

5th Week 0%* The enrollment period for the per course Enrollment Agreement is 27 weeks (189 days). After the 27-week period expires, no refund of the tuition will be issued.
TEXTBOOK REFUND POLICY: Students who elect to cancel enrollment may return unused textbooks to the CSU bookstore for a refund of up to 65% of the purchase price depending upon the condition. Textbooks no longer in use will not be repurchased. CSU will only accept returned textbooks that were purchased from the University Bookstore. A credit will be applied to the student's account if there is a balance due; otherwise, a refund check will be issued.
