With your initial enrollment, the CSU Admissions Department will walk you through the process of enrolling and registering for the courses you'll begin your program with.
The first course that you will complete is CSU's two week Student Orientation Course. This course will familiarize you with the process here at CSU, and our web orientation tools will enable you to become quickly comfortable with the virtual resources available to you.
CSU offers two (2) convenient enrollment systems: the Per Course Enrollment and Term Enrollment. Details for each follow.
Per Course Enrollment
With CSU's Per Course Enrollment you may begin your program at anytime. Enrollment and registration is a one step process and you'll begin your program with the course(s) you list on the Per Course Agreement.
Students may enroll in one or two courses at a time. If two courses are listed, this indicates both courses will be started and completed simultaneously within a ten-week period. Students utilizing the Per Course Enrollment system qualify for the CSU Book Grant. Through this grant, textbooks are provided at no additional charge. A maximum of 10 weeks is allowed for each course. For active military members, Tuition Assistance pays 100% of the tuition - there's no out of pocket expense.
Term Enrollment
Though open to all students, CSU's Term Enrollment was developed for VA Students. To receive maximum VA Benefits courses completed by veterans must have an established start and end date. Students may enroll in one or multiple courses in each eight-week term. Textbooks are provided at no charge through the CSU Book Grant. Temporary Status Enrollment
Students who wish to begin enrolling in courses immediately after submitting their Application for Admission may do so under “Temporary” Admissions Status and while “Temporary,” may complete up to 13 undergraduate credit hours or 7 graduate credit hours. Once all transcripts are received and evaluated, an Application Evaluation Report will be issued and the student’s status changed. For more information about temporary status, view the admission status page.
