Katherine Odom, Ph.D.
Dean of Curriculum Development

Katherine Odom serves as the Supervisor of Curriculum Development at CSU. She holds a doctoral degree in instructional design and development from the University of South Alabama. She also has a master’s degree in collaborative teaching from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a bachelor's degree in communication disorders from Auburn University. Prior to joining CSU, she was employed by BearingPoint, Inc. as an instructional design senior consultant. As a consultant, she designed and developed training for federal agencies and national healthcare organizations. She has also been contracted as an instructional designer for such initiatives as Army Aviation training, US Army Corps of Engineers emergency response training, and Department of Defense Civil Military Emergency Preparedness training for the Balkan Sea States. She is a member of the American Educational Research Association and the Association for Educational Communications and Technology.
