Chief Marketing Officer
Eric McHaney serves as Chief Marketing Officer for Columbia Southern Education Group, and in the functional role of Vice President of Marketing and Outreach at Columbia Southern University overseeing all Marketing, Corporate Outreach, Student Alumni & Engagement, and Community Outreach.
As an executive with more than sixteen years of higher education marketing experience, Eric brings expansive knowledge and expertise to the role. Eric’s career began with University of Phoenix Online from 1999-2006 and he was responsible for all direct marketing efforts as the school grew to unprecedented heights. Eric was then hired as AVP of Marketing for Grand Canyon University from 2007-2014 where he led a team of thirty marketing employees dedicated to growing the university’s student base, and increasing the organization’s brand equity and National footprint. As a marketing professional, Eric’s keys to success are integrity, initiative and innovation.
