A maximum of six semester hours of graduate credit from an accredited institution may be accepted by UWA towards a master's degree. This credit must have been earned within a six-year period prior to initial enrollment in the graduate program with UWA. For academic credit to be considered beyond this six year period, students must petition the Graduate Appeals Committee and/or the Graduate Dean for special consideration. No transfer credit below the grade of “B” will be accepted. Transfer credit cannot be used to raise grade point average deficiencies. An official record of the transferred credit must be sent to the Registrar by the institution from which the credit has been earned before such credit will be considered for acceptance.
