The
University of West Alabama is accredited by the Commission
of Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges
and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia) to
award the associate, bachelor’s and master’s
degrees. This accreditation gives regional and national
recognition to credits and degrees earned at the University.
The
University's College of Education is accredited by the
National Council of the Accreditation of Teacher Education at
both the initial and advanced levels (NCATE).
The University College
of Business, is
also accredited by the
Association of Collegiate Business Schools
and Programs (ACBSP). |
