When comparing quality and cost – CSU is your best option. Our tuition is competitively priced to make achieving a quality education affordable and realistic for the average person. Federal Financial Aid and military educational benefits are also available for eligible participants.

Tutoring Services Available
CSU is committed to providing students with the resources they need to successfully complete their program of study. As part of this commitment, writing and math tutoring services are available at no cost.

No Entrance Exams Required
CSU does not require minimum entrance scores for the ACT, SAT, GRE or GMAT to be accepted for admission into our programs. 

Textbooks Provided Through CSU Book Grant 
Textbooks are provided at no cost through CSU Book Grant / Loan-a-Book Programs as long as the student successfully completes the course.

Open Enrollment
Begin courses at anytime and study when it best fits your schedule. With the CSU Per-Course/Open Enrollment System, there are no predetermined semester or session dates to contend with.

No Group Projects
There are no group projects and courses are totally asynchronous. Study offline anytime and anywhere that works best for you and simply log back on to submit the prepared assignments by the due date.

Flexible Learning
Forget the days of scheduled online sessions and on-site test taking! At CSU, residency is not a requirement and coursework can be completed at times that are most convenient for you. Faculty and staff offer flexible individualized instruction designed to provide each student with the guidance and support necessary for successful course completion.

Accreditation and Recognition
CSU is an accredited member of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). The Accrediting Commission of DETC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency and is a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). CSU is licensed by the Alabama Department of Postsecondary Education.

The Board of Certified Safety Professionals recognizes CSU degrees for both the CSP application and for credit towards recertification in the Continuance of Certification program.
