Next Step Law Enforcement Scholarship Program

Eligible candidates must be a current member in good standing, with dues paid, of the Alabama Peace Officers Association, Alabama Fraternal Order of Police, Alabama Association Chiefs of Police, Alabama Sheriffs Association or Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers' Association. A minimum of a GED or High School transcript is required. The Columbia Southern University (CSU)/Waldorf College Next Step Law Enforcement Scholarship Program pays tuition in full for a two-year continuous period.  Recipients are responsible for paying textbook costs.

Members of the above organizations may apply for the scholarship but only one scholarship per person can be awarded.  Scholarships are not transferable and will be awarded by CSU at a regular Association meeting to recipients.
