Who should use this process?
Current CSU students applying for Federal Student Aid (FSA) for the first time or those reapplying after a break in attendance, changing their program, or for those that have graduated and are returning for a new degree.

Are all degree programs eligible for financial aid?
Most programs are eligible. The following programs are not eligible for Federal Student Aid:

How do I apply for Federal Student Aid?
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and include CSU’s school code 041215.
If you have already submitted a FAFSA, retrieve it and add the CSU school code.
What happens after I submit my FAFSA?
Your FAFSA is sent to CSU within 3–5 business days. The Office of Financial Aid will review your application and notify you by email with next steps.
